Gold Pty Ltd was originally incorporated in 2010 as GrassRoots Innovation Pty Ltd, a commercial arm of Northern Gulf Resource Management Group (a natural resource management firm).  The Board of NGRMG recognised the need for a highly entrepreneurial firm in the Gulf region which could identify opportunities, fill the void where new infrastructure or resources were needed …and monetise projects in order to generate a ROI for any investment, and to generate extra funds for the expansion of NGRMG’s valued AgScience services.

The firm had a name change to Gulf Gold in 2014, to focus purely on the Gulf … and to once again find the “gold” that exists in the region, which is the size of the UK.

White Paper puts Gulf Gold in the bull’s-eye

With the launch of the government’s launch of the White Paper on the development of Northern Australia, Gulf Gold is now in the bull’s-eye of this initiative.  Large agriculture and water projects are emerging, and a huge shift towards supplying both live export and slaughtered beef cattle for the Chinese and Asian markets has opened.  An insatiable desire for Australian, grass fed organic beef has developed.
